Rock Climbing courses and guiding in Snowdonia, North Wales and Spain

Rock Climbing in Snowdonia, North Wales

I run rock climbing courses in North Wales for all - whatever your grade or previous experience. With my rock climbing courses I aim to improve your rock climbing techniques, your rope work skills and ultimately inspire you and boost your confidence so you can go it alone. Listed below are examples of courses that I run. With all my clients I ensure that you get the instruction and coaching you need to progress - so feel free to email me and discuss you aspirations and previous experience and I will put together a tailored course for you.

"Thank you again for an excellent two day course. We found your instruction very clear to follow, we always felt very safe and we are very grateful that you made use of every minute so that we could lead a climb by the end of day two.." From Lucy and Matt Smith following a weekend climbing course.

Rock Climbing in Snowdonia and North Wales

The mountains and sea cliffs of Snowdonia and North Wales hold the best rock climbing in the UK. Within 45 minutes drive from Llanberis it is possible to climb on 7 different rock types - you won't find this anywhere else in the world!

There is bouldering, easy sport climbs, hard sport climbs, big multipitch mountain routes, excellent roadside crags, remote and secluded cliffs, massive and committing sea cliffs. Despite its reputation for being wet, there is normally somewhere dry in North Wales to climb due to the localised pattern of our weather.

Rock Climbing in El Chorro, Spain

I also run sport climbing courses in El Chorro, Spain, during the winter months. Its a great place to get away to if you are craving some sunshine and warm rock through the dark months.

The area offers lots of well bolted sport climbs, some adventurous multi pitch routes and the Camino del Rey - a via ferrata type walkway that runs through the El Chorro gorge.

I run the courses from the Olive Branch, a really friendly guesthouse situtated close to the climbing.
